When You're Looking Like That

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, yet I can't really feel the festive atmosphere. I guess the population including myself is adversly affected by the economy depression to a level beyond my imagination.

Seriously, I really cannot comprehend the situation. Blame in all on my lack of knowledge in macroeconomics. Only now that I know that life is no longer what it used to be. Even the streets tend to more empty than usual; they are way more cars on road for last-minute shopping last year. Obama just got himself in deep trouble; if only he didn't rise up to ranks at these dangerous time, he would be more successful as Presiden. To simply put it, he was borned at the worng time.

Due to further boredom, I drew a picture during mathematics class. Learned some tips on how to shade and tone from Justin. And yea, the figure in the drawing- she's my lecturer. She's a kind person but sometimes very blur-blur. Her inclination to make typo mistakes is something 'special about her'. I seriously hope that my good impression for her would not be tainted: somehow I am afraid that she would display ambiguity in her decisions like how my past MPW lecturer did.


After all, teachers, lecturers, mentors.... no matter how you name them, these people will be one of the greatest influence in your life, for the better or for worse... other than the Internet and also your friends (remember how we always blame our mistakes on peer pressure?). Luckily, I've met many great people in life, and I'm really happy with how they shape my life, or in other words, how they're part of my life. And of all those people, that include those who are reading my blogsite too.
