Only One

Imagine having to present your research study in front of a crowd... I bet many dread such situations.

Now imagine having to present thrice in a week... I repeat, three times in a week...

I've done presentation for 3 different subjects within the last week, which are Malaysian Studies, Mathematics Studies and Physics. I don't really afraid to present unless I didn't do any preparation. But in reality, I did little practice before each presentation.

For example, for math, I , who was somehow appointed as the group leader, suggested to the group to make the whole presentation to be sort of like a drama/play. Yeah, this idea did improve our score, but it was still inferior to the best presenting group, its members whom I know rather well. In fact, they are my ex-schoolmates.

Sigh, I just don't like to lose. "Kiasu" can actually helps to make someone to improve their efforts in carrying out a task, but I guess I'm just not good enough la. Gotto double my efforts, right?

And for Physics' presentation, I was thought as some angry guy who you wouldn't want to piss him off when he's concentrating. I agree on the fact that I wouldn't be aware of the surroundings when I truly am concentrating on a single task, but looking angry while presenting on a research study?

Just great.

Here's a snapshot of me and my classmates, or shall I say coursemates. I'm not evil-looking, right? Please tell me that. I cannot stand any negative criticism anymore. And yea, my tie is distorted. It's been a long time since I tied one, so you cannot blame me ma.

My attitude requires major changes, I know. But I'm just myself right? So guys and girls, please bear with me until I find the absolute remedy for my clumsy, arrogant, self-centered, pessimistic and other negative values.

First Time

One day, a friend drove all the way down to my college and asked me to accompany him. Since he made such an effort to get company, I just couldn't deny his sincere pleading, hence I went out with him. It was 2pm, a hot Saturday afternoon and little did I know that my plans for the weekends went all wrong (but not for the worse).

Just guess where we all ended up in: Genting Highland.

Then, the very next day, we went on the the planned occasion, a treasure hunt. When I asked him for the details, he said little. I should have know that he joined this treasure hunt to look for potential girlfriend and I was dragged along to accompany him in his hunt. Sigh...

So we went on and on to... Klang!

These poor monkey were seen to be left in a closed caged with zero freedom in a park in Klang (I couldn't really tell where was I, but I'm sure I was in Klang).

Oh, you can just imagine how I got myself in such a situation 'coz I don't know too. I made no preparations ( that's so unlike me, because I always pack my bag before going out) and went out empty handed. It was just a crazy weekend for me.

However, I must mention that I have other happier "first times". One particular event is where the both of us went to this lookout tower in Dusun Tua where the whole (most) of KL's beautiful night scene can be seen clearly.

The dinner I had at the lookout dinner. It may seem appetizing, but the price is not. So I recommend your all to go there for sightseeing (I don't know the way, but I would ask if anyone wanted to know).

Leave Out All The Rest

It's been a habit of mine to leave out all the discussion about tests, quizzes and exams until the teachers return our paper, no matter how sucky your results, how blank the papers are...

I had two tests earlier, and I planned to leave them out of my life, for the moment. Just hate how I always give up studying particularly at last minute to the exam.

Joy time! Had a better-than-usual dinner outside the campus, then movies streak...

Rather fed up with my own attitude. Gotto do something, which would result in nothing getting changed. Zzz... another waste of effort, or is it not? Life's short after all...

When You Believe

There can be miracles when u believe... neh...

Instead, all I got was distrust and misinterpretation when I state my stand on certain issues. Dog (god spelled backwards) just when will justice be served?

Either way, people just don't believe me when I said that I've forgot all about the Redang trip. Well, I went back home and went to numerous places such as Bukit Tinggi's Jusco (Did I mention that Jusco is as huge as Midvalley) and the Buddhist's Center's Food Fair in the weekends, came back to college and NEVER even mention about it. Yet people don't believe in me... how sad...

In fact, it was me pestering them to go for a roadtrip during the coming semester break. I foresee that the event will not go as planned.

Argh... more assignments due this week... more pain in the eyes, the neck and the ass... Another thing, did I tell you that I'm having lots and lots of extra classes this week? I have no complaints except for feeling hungry (I am always hungry indeed) but my classmates just couldn't hold back anymore. They are like, mobile suits on the precipice of pressing the self-detonation switch, which would go "KABOOM" in the nearest future. They just like to pull pranks, do they?

Public exam is just around the corner (say, 3 more months). I do believe I can succeed, but hopes and ability are two separate matters. I've failed once, better not fail again. That would totally ruin my high self-esteem, pride and reputation. I've not even mend my wounds from the last public exams yet. So Mr. Failure, stay away from me!

Lights and Sounds

A thousand apologies for not updating the blog for 2 weeks.

Neh, I'm not gonna give any excuse. I'm just lazy.

This week I went to donate blood. Surprisingly, I didn't really donate. In fact, after 10 minutes, the nurse just pull the "plug" and just ask me to rest after I complained that my arm was getting numb, with just a little loss of consciousness. Probably I don't have enough blood to give. Yet how come I was able to donate last year even when I WAS UNDERWEIGHT? (now I'm no longer so)

My assignments keep on piling, but I'll try my best to keep them away. Haha...

Oh yeah, there's this trip to Redang, organize by a classmate. I wonder should I join the trip? How am I going to fork out RM400 oh?

By the way, there will be fireworks performance today in the campus by AUP club. I'm going there soon. Bye for now...

Hope that you will enjoy the dusk, and the dawn.
