I'll try to post on this blog once every week instead of every fortnight. But as a compensation, there will be less words and more pictures instead.

Last week was a bash. My friends and I played badminton, then basketball and later on badminton, all on the same week. Never had we been so athletic. But I am glad to be able to put those degenerated muscles into a good workout after 6 weeks long of a rest period.



Let me present my recent interest- VOCALOID the voice synthesizer from Yamaha. This song is much more catchy when compared to Lady Gaga. So why not give it a try?

Two is Better Than One

Much had happened in the past 9 days that made my 2 months long semester break worthwhile. Of course I have to thank my friends for bringing me around. After all, I am the only one in the clique that is still not allowed to drive with parent supervision. T_T

Cameron Highland

As mentioned in the past posting, I stayed at Tanah Rata of Cameron Highland during a 2D2N trip there. Though some mishap happened to one of the company, we still did enjoy ourselves there. Did I mention of my addiction to alcohol? I had a serious case of car sickness and the only medication that was able to relieve my suffering was in fact an alcohol named Dimple. Although Dimple is no woman, but it also kept me warm during the cold night just like a vodka. And thus, I am now addicted to alcohol.

Ice Skating at Sunway Pyramid

Just a day before going to PD and a day after returning from Cameron Highland, I went ice-skating with an unlikely company that was assembled from the remnant of a failed 5C gathering at McDonald. At first, I wasn't into the idea. After all, a beginner like me sure to fall a few times as I try to figure out how to ice-skate. Indeed I fell and fell.. fell so many times. My ankles also bruised due to friction with the shoes.

In the end, I concluded that I paid RYM30 to get myself injured. RYM30 worth of experience that is.

Port Dickson (PD)

Before I could even recover from the injuries in my last outing, I have departed on a roadtrip to PD. Throughout this 3D2N trip, I had

• tasty, delicious crabs
• beach soccer
• mahjong
• go-cart
• eggs (Seremban-styled fried eggs and scrambled eggs)
• Maggi cup noodles
• fishing
• BBQ
• and more importantly, fun!

I kinda expected more from this trip, but entirely I am glad that I enjoyed the PD trip. The only regret was that I did not get to dip in the sea at all, not even once......

ComicFiesta '09

And this was taken today at the event. Practically us anime-enthusiasts had been planning this trip since the end of Daicon this July [link]. Being a volunteer at CF'08 [link], I was appointed to be the guide for this outing. In summary, CF'o9 had

• more cosplayers (moe...kawaii...totally awsm)
• more noise due to the awesome emcees
• more sponsors, particularly Wacom!! that meant promotion on drawing tablets! Now I am pondering on whether I should get one as soon as possible
• more expensive entrance fee (ouch!)

Guess our comic industry is not as shabby as I thought. By the way, I did contribute to the industry by purchasing comics for the larger comic publisher in Malaysia, Gempak Starz and got it autographed by its author, Keith!

Jumper

Finally my semester break looks like a true holiday period, where time is spent on happy/merry activities.

Firstly, I was kinda sorry for not going to Sunway theme park with the SAM clan. Hopefully I will get another opportunity to meet up with them.

Then few days ago, I decided to tag along and went up to Cameron Highland with my friends. It's in fact my first time going time. Sounds pathetic, I know. However, we did have tons of fun playing the game Twister (not Twisties the snack) that leave players in knots and ties.

It's strange. We travelled 200km and across 3 states just to play Twister? Unfortunately that's the truth. On the other hand, this is the first successful roadtrip we had since SPM. We attempted to organize roadtrips for numerous times and failed.
I didn't manage to take any photos because my camera phone ran out of battery. Strangely, there's 3G connection on Cameron and my friends was able to access to Facebook. Bet she's addicted to it.


There will be a roadtrip to PD this Tuesday. Hopefully it will be a bash.

You Found Me

With nothing to do, I also have nothing to update everyone on.

Practically things are still a standstill for me. The case on my apartment room has not been settled and I could not bring myself to break my promise with the "landlord" in order to move out. Things in Kajang are pretty much the same even with the return of those studying in Australia.

All I did to kill time was to read manga online. That is one activity that doesn't require me to fork out any money. Without a part-time job, I hardly have money to spend on entertainment.

In reality, I am impressed by those who are capable of working and studying at the same time such as Santik. I couldn't find the time to do so. Probably the field of science is more difficult compared to arts and bussiness. So do teach me how to do so.

Sleeping Child

I am bored, not because I have nothing to do, but rather because I do not have the fundings to do the thing I want to do.

And due to boredom, I dug out something cute in the internet. Meet flele the music application. With no buttons, literally.

Well, it's quite difficult to use it if you could not read Japanese, but with a little luck, the trial and error method works as well.
