No Logic

I never realize what kind of trouble I just involved myself in
by joining student government and their activities.
And I will not feel remorse about it, not until the trouble grew big enough.

Well, I wanted to help out in the coming INTI student forum
where students and INTI management get some questions answered.
In the end, I was given the task to be the emcee.
And it's not that because I cannot take the responsibility, but rather
it will be my first experience of being an emcee.

Do hope that I don't screw up the whole event,
nor do I bite my tongue while I'm speaking on Wednesday.
I never have an similar experience that can help me to overcome
any possible stage fright or anxiousness.
Hence, I'm going to rely to moral support
so that I can keep up to expectations.

By the way, I'm blaming JiaXien for introducing me to Vocalogenesis. Now I'm addicted to it already.

Whataya Want From Me

Apparently a lot is expected from me. I know that I'm not obliged to fulfill all these expectations but I also could not bear to let people down on me.

Even though the process is exhausting. Time-consuming. Stressful. And sometimes wasteful.

To be honest,I will be glad to be part of the student government so that I could be a catalyst of improvement for INTI student, though I doubt I have what it takes to be part of that change. After all, I know my flaws and strengths best.

It's kinda like a leadership camp in INTI-UC that I am talking about. And I am not absolutely happy about it. But I think I must make sacrifices so that I could actually learn something from this process. Let's just hope that I did not make those sacrifices for nothing.

Welcome to the Omega Project, where participants are tortured for the fun of the organizing committees. And sorry to say that I'm one of those poor people being tortured there.

Poor me...

Spy

Get to know a few seniors last night. All of them are awesome singers, which made my trip to the karaoke box worth the effort and time- I get to enjoy their singing performance.

The reason why we all went singing was because we were both angry and sad about Malaysia badminton team losing horribly to China's in Thomas Cup Semi-final. And to think that Malaysia media was optimistic that the national team would win this time after almost 2 decades.

So Malaysians, you all better wait for your next chance at winning the Thomas Cup. I might be a Malaysian myself, but too bad for you guys: I support Brother LinDan.

All the Right Moves

Haha... I bet I will be rather relaxed through this semester after dropping Immunology.

As you can see, I'm posting here almost every day.

This post starts off with one potrait picture of an old man as shown below:

Why Donald Trunp and his book, you might ask me. Well that's because my lecturer for Enterpreneurship read the summary of his book to the class. What caught my attention was the statement :

It's tough to be rich and be ready to get hurt.
Donald Trump

To note, this lecturer is amazing and she's definitely rich when it comes to life experience, but maybe not in terms of dollars and cents. Whenever she speaks of her experience, it's more inspiring than reading one self-motivation book, such as the one mentioned above. Glad that I had her as a lecturer even though I was not a business student. I maybe alone in the class, but I guess that way I might be able to pay more attention to her lectures this way.

All thanks to her, I am commiting myself to improve my drawing by practicing daily. Probably post them on deviantart.

Another point to note about my new semester is my Japanese lecturer, Ari-sensei. He may be a little too feminine in the opinion of many, but I guess that's what so special of him (but I doubt I'm homosexual). As such, his lectures were fun and he was able to crack jokes naturally. His passion and enthusiasm to teach us really made me want to learn the Japanese language.

I guess my life was never about me, but rather it was about all the great teachers and role models that I encountered all this while. To me, teachers have a higher place in my heart, probably even higher than my parents. After all, they are the ones who gave me precious intellectual property that mould me into what I am right now. And that's is what I like best of being human.

I may be arrogant and ignorant, but I will always respect the teachers that made me grew wiser.
Hereby I wish these great Happy Teacher's Day in to those teachers in Malaysia.

Every Morning

Gosh... it's been more than a week since I updated this blog.

Recently I've been addicted to turn-based tactics video games such as Advanced Wars. Well, as women put it in words, men cannot live without their toys. For me, my toys must have been video games. But I guess that is about to change once I grab hold of a graphic tablet. Now I've gotto wait patiently for my new toy to arrive~

Well, my two weeks long holiday was gone so soon. that I couldn't even recall what I did in that period. In fact, I ditched classes several times this week so that I can have a longer holiday. Of course I am not supposed to do so...

But oh well, life is short. Better make it enjoyable while it last.
