"Miss, your food is here", the waitress said in a polite tone, only to burst out of laughter together with my classmates when I divert my vision from a comic book to face her.
Crap, how can I be mistaken for a girl? I have quite a flat chest and abs to boast about and I was mistaken for a girl?
Guess this calls for a haircut. Even when I'm troubled by the piling coursework on my to-do list.

I Gotta Feeling
So happy that I was able to make nicely stained smears for my Microbiology lab session today. I finally can see the motility of microorganisms. Made me so excited the moment I saw them through the light microscope.
I'm wondering whether I am getting too fascinated by them.
That's strange, considering I was afraid of these microbes since last lab session. Probably because I failed so miserably the last time that I dreaded Microbiology lab session. Now at least my self-esteem had been restored by today's success.
Wonder how did my other coursemates fare in today's lab session?

By the way, yesterday's presentation was also quite well done. My topic was on Aspirin the drug, something that I scraped from my SAM coursework, somewhat a last minute job lolx.

Grow Up
Have anyone purchased new clothing for this new year? I'm not specifying to the event of Chinese New Year, but I am looking forward to have new apparels for the coming festive celebration.
I might need to appoint a fashion advisor too, considering I had a poor sense of dressing. Mind helping me?
To be honest, I cannot control my budget when it comes to food! Whenever I see food, I am tempted to buy. Even when I'm not hungry at the moment. Except during Microbiology lab session. lolx.
Guess I have a serious case of greed and gluttony.

Cancer
There are two types of cancer that I recognize. Humans.... and bacteria.
Though I am more than happy to learn about bacteria, I now fear to work with them in the Microbiology laboratory. To be honest, lab sessions had never ever been this tensed. Everyone was afraid to talk to each other and constantly heard as mumbling.
I was also hit by depression as I did a major mistake in preparing stained smears of bacteria samples. Though the lab instructor did not take notice, I felt totally awful for misleading the rest of the class.
My lab coat is probably contaminated with microorganisms and therefore needed to be washed. Immediately. The stench of microorganism needs to be eliminated too.
Totally unhappy with this unpleasant experience during today's lab session.

Love is War
At 10pm, I decided to walk all the way to the campus common area, about 1km away from my apartment juz to access to the net. After all, I have nothing to do and there's plenty of time to kill.
I really wanted to rant it all out, regarding my first week of lectures after 2 months of holidays. Particularly my Head of Programme that's teaching me Microbiology this semester. She's so unapproachable. I wonder am I qualified to criticize her when I am the same myself =.=
Then there's my Biochemistry 2 lecturer who finished 2 chapters in 2 days of lectures. I think I ought to remind him that there's 13 weeks more in this semester so that he wouldn't teach so quick. And because of him, I'll need to do plenty to academic reading this lovely weekend. How sweet is that (=.=)
Not to mention my first lesson in General Psychology. The crowded class made me totally unconfortable. Or probably because having a girl sitting beside me. To be honest I've been pampered by INTI with small classes of 10-20 students. I ended up sleeping through half of the class duration to ease my discomfort.
Guess no more time to have a part-time job, considering this semester's messy situation.

Black☆Rock Shooter
Bang! Bang! I do hope that everyone's new year started with a bang!
Yesterday had a great new year eve dinner at Kajang Buddhist Centre. Though I thought that I would not be going there anymore.
Knowing that I couldn't live up to my new year resolutions, I wouldn't make any resolutions this time. Instead I am wishing that everyone would have a wonderful year without much mishaps. On the other hand, feel free to share with me your new year resolutions and I will assist you to make them come true wherever possible.
Well, my holidays will be ending in 48 more hours, so this would be the final chance for me to play, play and play before classes begin once again (to be honest, I am looking forward to play squash at uni). I am quite satisfied with my new classes schedule... but with Ms. Lalita and Dr. Palsan as lecturers, I don't think life for this semester will be easy-going. Do wish me luck with their assignments.
