Due to serious boredom, I read some of my old collection of novel again, namely HP7 'coz I didn't purchase any new materials from Bookfest at KLCC. My wallet was still recuperating from the injury last week of my backpacking trip. And it still hurts whenever I thought how I easily spent all the money that I worked so hard last semester to earn. Every last bit of them.
But then again, I saw a promotion on graphic tablets, not Wacom brand I am sorry to say. Well, this Taiwan-branded tablets is the best alternative to the expensive Wacom tablets, and other people are commenting that Genius is competing with Wacom in the same fashion as how AMD is rivalling Intel when it comes to computer processors.
After much consideration, and a little advice from a concerning friend, I've finally decided not to buy the tablet at the book fair, but rather save up my money to buy the more-expensive Wacom Intuos 3, sized 4'X6'or an A6 paper. Honestly, this one is triple the price of Genius-branded tablets, still I think it's more worthy to get this one instead, at least in the long run.
In the end I came back empty-handed. Hopefully friends at Limkokwing University and One Academy would inform me of graphic tablet offers. I dun mind if it is 2nd-hand goods, just as long as it is functioning.

Did I mention that I got free tickets to the KLCC Skybridge last Sunday?

Love Drunk
I went to Bookfest which is now being held at KLCC Convention Centre. Looking at books but do not have the financial capability to buy them is really frustrating...
I truly despise the business strategy of the organizers, hiring schoolgirls to work at the convention. It just feels really wrong.

Rookie of the Year
Due to laziness, I am not going to elaborate more on my trip to the south of the country. After all, I have not even recover the fatigue from my Ipoh trip. Therefore I decided to just post some photos that I have taken. Cheers.

Danga Bay. I was told that this is the "happening" place to be in JB, but I guess these people were wrong 'coz there was only a small crowd there.
Some Taiwan-oriented fun drinks at Batu Pahat. It's way cheaper there compared to the Klang Valley.
The Melaka River. The newly paved riverbanks made this the perfect place to couples to date.

The Zone, a shopping mall near the Customs where JB people likes to go clubbing. However, due to the economy recession, it is no longer as merry at night as it used to be.

A Moment Like This
“Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
Miriam Beard
Or so that's what this guy thinks travelling is about. Well, the experience do have a lifetime impact I have to admit, but there's more than that. After all, I did find my way back after getting lost in Malacca. lolx. Only at such time will you realize you're in a stranger's place.
So here I start with the report of my Malacca trip. This reminds me of my weekly lab reports. I originally plan was just to visit Seremban and Malacca. As mentioned I did wanna know how long can I survive outside there with a limited amount of cash. So in the end the trip became:
Nilai>Seremban>Malacca>Batu Pahat>Johor Bahru>Seremban>Home
Morning, Serembanians!
Anyway, I leave my room in Nilai about 6am in the morning and after a series of short trips on the local public transportation, I arrived at Malacca about 10.30am. Well, before I could explore the market opposite the bus terminal, my friend was here and we were off to GACC or should I say Games, Anime and Comics Convention. Well, he was interested to take a look too, so we went together in his car. Honestly, over the past 4 days I enjoyed tonnes of luxuries that most backpackers would not have.
I was angry that the event begun one hour late. The committees did arranged an tight schedule of events for the day to keep participants and visitors busy. However, me and my pal decided to leave MMU after half an hour to catch a movie instead. Here, I was reminded to support Burger King instead of McDonald! After all, Burger King wins hands down when it comes to taste. And G.I. Joe was quite a pushover. Yes, it was not worth the time and I definitely thinks District 9 had better storyline, though the latter had loads of disturbing images.
After that, I went to get a room at the nearby guesthouse. By luck I came to Shirah's Guest House and quickly got a place there for RM15 per night. Funny thing is the owner's name is Steven, not Shirah lolx. In this 3 storey guest house, I found out that I am the only Asian guest in the house, surrounded by 10 other Caucassian backpackers. It's a freaky, new experience for me and I loved every moment of it. Another thing I learnt is vodka and orange juice mix is truly tasty!

Dinner was in-the-house courtesy of the Malacca-bred C.R. He commented that I cannot be a Malaccan because I do not have the stamina and physical endurance to walk around the historical city. I assured him that I am able to do so the very next day. And so I begun walking the Heritage Trail after waking up at 5.30am.

Go! Go! Go!
Malacca, here I come! Armed with some cash, I would like to know how far can I go, how long can I last out there... Will provide a more detailed report once I've returned!

Nyan Nyan Medley Service
A tribute to Digimon TV series which had been running for 10 years already. Happy 10th Anniversary! Never thought that the TV series had been this old and it felt like just a while ago that I was watching the 1st season of the TV series. Of course I have not brought myself to watch the newest season of the series, but I wouldn't mind doing so during my semester break.
Well, it's not that I will have nothing to do during the semester break. I planned to go to GACC, and I pray that the H1N1 outbreak will not interfere with my plans. And hopefully I get to eat Seremban's famous beef noodles before heading to Malacca.
But let me be reminded that I have my exams next week.
- Organization and Management (totally dislike this subject!)
- Molecular and Cell Biology 2
- Chemistry 2
- Biology of Organisms

Gotto Be Somebody
Semester finals are coming. Just next week and yet here I am online killing time.
Probably I should just treat myself with an all ice-cream diet too, since I have nothing interesting to do. Waaaa.... how can I concentrate in my studies... when I dun even study in the 1st place!?
