How Far We've Come

Omg... semester break is almost over and I have not yet finish with my video game. Practically played almost 10 hours everyday for the past 8 days, total that up and I realized I've spent at least 70 hours just on one video game. Talk about addiction (don't call that addiction, call it enthusiasm instead!)

I've just receive a new possession- a laptop! All I need now are complementary product such a a tablet (Wacom Intuos 4... wish I could have one), a new mouse and other gadgets... However, I have not yet lay a finger on it 'coz practically I have no clue on what I am suppose to do with it. Probably personalize it this weekend with all the beautiful icons I got from deviantart.

Nobody's Home

I kinda wish nobody's home except me. That way I get to play video game for all I want. Yea, I got hooked to another PS2 RPG game again. However, I got nagged at every 3 hours interval, asking me to quit playing. (Swt... I am going to celebrate my last year of teenage in a fortnight and I still get nagging from my parents. It suck to grow up) Practically I am dying to know the ending of the story, that's why I playing hard to finish it fast. Just like how I finish Harry Potter Book 7 in 14 hours after its official release at 7am on 7/7/07 (It's nice that J.K. Rowling chose such an auspicious time to release her book. Now even I can remember the silly things I've done at KLCC that same time). I called that my love and enthusiasm for fantasy and RPGs.

So I guess I am gonna spent my holidays
  • finishing Odin's Sphere
  • reading up on economics
  • photo-editting (see image below)

Thinking of taking illustration to another level with a Wacom tablet, but I still cannot afford one. I guess that gotto wait. Currently happy with my new possession... which I will discuss in the next posting. Haha... keeping my audience anticipated.

Anyone who wanna go have fun can call me out... I'm pretty free, but sadly out of cold hard cash.

Between The Lines

Semester exams next week, yahoooooo.... (are you insane?)

After that, 2 weeks semester break, yea~

But now, instead of cramming for the exams, I ended up doodling and sketching meaninglessly. Must have been the low internal assessment score I have for Maths that made me really depressed. I think I am going to apple-polish the lecturer tomorrow, hoping that I get to improve the score. Otherwise, I dun think a high distinction is possible. I seriously need to achieve better grade. It's not like I really bother about these numbers, but my true aim is actually... my one-way ticket to Australia (at least I planned for it to be one-way). Wish me luck. And to all other comrades in INTI-UC, good luck in your exams too.

Gives Me Hell

Made another discovery recently. I have taken my freedom for granted. If I was forced to wear glasses all the time in the past, surely I wouldn't feel the same about it now that I owned a pair. But then again, this freedom doesn't happen to everyone... so I guess it is alright for me to take it as a fashion accessory rather than a tool to correct vision defect. Hahahaha... (sorry to those with glasses. I know I am a jerk when it comes to this topic)

Semester break is just a fortnight away and I am really looking forward to it. I am wondering whether I should continue to be a student helper for INTI during May enrolment. I still don't have a job after looking for one all these while. The pay maybe low but I guess it is better to have income then just living off my parent's money. After all, I resolved that I would try hard to find a way to get transfer abroad and doing a part-time job is in fact one step closer to that goal of mine, financially in my opinion.

This week is like hell. I was totally occupied by the my Critical Thinking's (SSC) Project and Mathematics's Survey. My group members are not really committed into doing these projects and it made me wonder whether I was the only one concerned about it. They (not all of them) were always late for our meetings. The attendence was also poor. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about these projects, but I am determined to get better grades. That's the only way I am going to get my dream achieved, through that small opportunity provided by INTI-UNSW scholarship. If I have to sing a song in front of a class of 50 to get that scholarship ( I did kinda sing indirectly for one of the project together with other team members, nevertheless I am sure I would do it alone if I really have to, even though everyone would shut their ears upon listening to my horrible voice)

However, I guess I'm also half-assed about it. For example, I who was supposed to be studying for the semester finals, ended up flipping through the pages of picture books on illustration, photography and digital graphic designs. When I finally get a grip of myself, fatigue seemed to be deterring me from studying Biology. I can barely keep my eyes open after skimming through 10 pages of printed notes... Well, this is what you can expect from someone like me. XD

Do you wonder why I am so self-centered? Don't I have any friends worth mentioning here? I wanna do so... I will see what I can do in the next posting... I am not sure what image I can place here 'coz I have not been drawing recently. Yea, it's kinda sad.
