as I spend my time with you;
A facade that I'm both proud and embarrass of

Space, the outer space
the measurable distance between us
divide us apart now
further than Mars is from Venus;
how I hunger for your touch more than ever!

Light years away from you
I send you my love
in the form of a birthday greeting
love expressed in the 26 alphabets
a message travels in the form of a transverse wave
across time and space
reaching its destination after 8 years and 7 time;
Why couldn't light travel faster?
The distance between us
now measured in the time traveled by photons

Will you still love me after all these time?
My thoughts of you are disguised as pulses of electromagnetism
travel in all directions to reach you
all the way form the end of the universe
from a place far, far away
possibly beyond the Sirius constellation, I suppose
