It's my first time
watching the video for the famous speech by Steve Jobs at Stanford College
but never did I know
that I'll never look at death the same way as I did in the past
Suddenly it feels like it was just yesterday
that I had McD with my grandma
regrettably, I kinda hope she could have another Fillet-O Fish
before she leaves this mortal world
but no one can really tell when death would come for you
so it's really important to live everyday as if it was your last
yes, we should be afraid of death
like what Jobs said, "even those who want to go to Heaven do not want to die getting there"
for death is the end for our mortal body and our thoughts
but yet, death allows new life to replace the old
so let's appreciate the beauty of nature order
and believe that we had worked to make the world a better place for others
I'll be ending this post with a song
Wrinkles - BuzzG feat. Megploid GUMI
after all, wrinkles are what reminds me of my grandmothers
I think i read that speech by steve jobs somewhere before hehe,
ReplyDeletebut the song is nice =P or the meaning anyway,
I miss my grandparents in M'sia too ><!
Once in awhile i will have thoughts like that, and then i get paranoid, cause negative thinking can come true, so i read somewhere one negative thought need to be overcome by 7 positive counter thoughts that does not have a negative implication to it @@
ej> yea, totally. we need to have less negative thinking and try to look forward.
