In Circles
Have you ever heard of the video game Transistor?
A friend of mine recommended the game to me,
knowing that I like good game music.
And so I started playing the video game many years ago
But I was never motivated to finish the game
Because most of the game setting was unclear to me
and there was no log or journal to keep track of the characters.
But finally, I had the motivation to complete the game yesterday.
One of the interesting setting was that the female protagonist...
cannot speak as her voice have been taken away
This was obvious at the beginning,
But I must have missed out its explanation during the early game
And so, I was rather blur about the story when I played in the pastWhich caused this game to be placed in the backlog for so many years
The production team tried a novel storytelling technique
I would have to compliment on its novelty,
but sadly, it made it slightly hard for me to understand the game settings
I would not have understood the game setting
until I went online and read the Wiki and Reddit pages
Anyhow, thanks to these supplementary information from Wiki/Reddit,
I have to say that the game setting was truly immersive
and the characters' motivation are relatable
as I am a sucker for good, immersive fictional works
I would be glad to play other games from its producer, Supergiant
