"Welcome to Chiang Mai, Thailand."
The van driver did say that when he picked us up at the airport.
Though it was supposed to be a business trip, it was actually quite a pleasurable.
This is my first time in Thailand though.
Below are some photos that I've taken and I would like to share~
The tall building is a famous hotel called "Royal Danna Hotel".
Below is the streets where the night bazaar is held almost everyday.
"Woof!"
The flower of a poppy plant.
A barn in a hill tribe village.
Part of the famous temple in Chiang Mai.
The beginning of several flight of stairs to the hotel.
There's actually an escalator up to the top, but I decided to challenge the stairs.
While devoted Buddhists make 3 rounds around the Golden Pagoda, I posed for the camera instead.
A beautiful garden outside the twin pagodas at the National Park.
The pagoda looked mystic with the mist surrounding the peak of the pagoda.
Cute girl who I took a photo of.
With a poor pronunciation, she asked me for "photo money", which I reluctantly complied.
BBQ chicken and pork. The chicken was succulent and the pork was tasty.
Paid 600 baht to watch several fights at the boxing stadium.
The young fighters were very good.
But there was this Nigga that took out his opponent in 3 kicks.
2nd largest waterfall in Chiang Mai.
I scaled some dangerous footpath to get this shot though.
Elephant skin is some nasty stuff, I tell you.
The artists at this workshop was able to use acrylic paint to do some creative artworks.
A HDR shot of several statues of monks.
Another HDR shot. This time, the subject is the hill tribe village.
My last HDR shot.
The statues at the temple made a great photo subject.
The pillar form a natural frame for the shot.
