Think the Future

6 single males, including myself, had a casual chat over lunch
We shared few things in common,
including a passion and love for Vocaloids (link)

The conversation was as follow:

Male A: Well, when would you all think we would grow up from our love for Vocaloids? I'll give another 7 years.

Male B: It seems that boys and girls don't grow up from their childhood hobbies. Girls still like to play dress-up (with reference to cosplayers and fashionista). Guys still... play with girls.

Me (confused): If you say guys like gadgets such as cameras and cars, I could understand. But why would you say guys like to play with girls?

Male C: Well, there's figurines such as Figmas and Nendroids (the 5 guys nodded their heads in unity)

Male D: I think all of us here have at least one figurine in our room.

Me: Ummn... I only have Gundam models in my room. Is that odd?

Male A-E: (stares at me with a queer eye)

All: ...(5 seconds of awkward moment...)

Male E: Well, Gundam models have skirt armors, right? So I guess you can consider your Gundams as females.
