Nyan, It's a Wonderful Cat Life

i saw a comic that covers the following dialogue:

grandson: mom and dad are so stupid! why won't they understand?
grandfather: can't blame them. when you become a parent, you'll lose 50 points off your IQ. However, when u become a grandparent, u automatically gain 100 IQ points!



I had a trolled version in my mind:

girlfriend: my boyfriend is so stupid! why can't he get it!
friend of girlfriend: can't blame him. men loses 50 IQ points whenever they are around females, particularly beautiful ones.

Either way, on to the the main story of this blog post...

Everyone have different priorities in life.
Conflicts between people may happen
when the parties involved do not share the same priorities
my previous team leader was
someone who prioritize his relationship with his girlfriend over his work
he should have know that
"Having a sharp tongue and a quick wit may get you far,
but having wisdom and empathy will just get you that much further"
the team was not able to do function properly
as the leader is most often occupied with his girlfriend
for that, i could only blame myself for electing him as the team leader

damn it, i really hated him for that!
and i definitely will not be able to forgive him
for putting away his responsiblities

and so to the question
what are my priorities?

currently the main priority would be
to secure a job, or preferably, a career
this is crucial for many purposes
such as to financially support my family,
or to have a realistic goal for me to focus in life
I definitely need funding for my secondary priorities
which are actually my hobbies
at least these hobbies of mine
Ultimate, photography, Gunpla, arts, cosplay etc.
are something worth looking forward to
at each weekend

sometimes i prefer to be a simple mammal or insect
whose life priorities are unarguably
survival and sexual reproduction
as guided by the forces of nature and the genes that they've inherited
there are little complication in such lives
