blue blue blue

Have I mentioned about my job scope
as an intern in a agronomy research company?
Well, I did learn a lot in the past few weeks
such as plant care and soil sampling techniques
and I am glad to be working here
But knowing what I actually did at work
might put you to think twice
about entering the field of biology
or more specifically - agronomy

So my weekly work routine include:
  • dig and carry soil (<-I dislike this the most)
  • carry bricks
  • autoclave rubber wood blocks
  • transplant seedlings into larger polythene bags
  • water seedlings
  • apply fertilizer and pesticide
  • subculture microbes
  • write research proposal
Today, I heard my supervisor commented
that one of the new research recorder candidates was 'too soft'
Well, I do understand that that job would be physically demanding
But I felt the same way about myself

Still, it's better to be hated for who I am
then to be loved for who I am not
Of course, I'll appreciate if people love me for who I really am
That's why I truly love my family and friends
