Toxic

It's not a big deal, but I am glad that I successfully survived 14 days in KL without PC and internet. Unlike my elder brother who could not live one single day without internet connection.

My work in KL also brought up a new habit of eating apples. Previously I rarely eat fruits. Strangely, I now like to munch on an apple while walking. Munch...munch...munch... I like to annoy those hungry people who are walking to classes or to workplace by munching loudly...

It's not that I was reminded of Britney Spears when I chose the post title. But being sick for the past 3 days, I cannot help but to think that I must have had an unhealthy lifestyle.

Day 1: Flu and fever
Day 2: Flu persisted, fever subsided, sore throat came into the picture.
Day 3: Flu remained, fever and sore throat gone, but had diarrhea.

Hopefully the following will happen~

Day 4: Recover and ready for action!

But work still had to be prioritized. Hence, being part of the Orientation Programme organizing committee, I still had responsibility to carry out. Thankfully no hard labour was involved. Haha~

I was reminded ( at least a thousand times) to get a haircut. But as a loyal member of the counter-culture faction of society and a maverick of the mainstream fashion culture (something which I am very proud of) I will keep my hair for as long as I could.

I was on the verge of dyeing my hair red (I seriously wanted green ever since I was young, but I was afraid that my hair might be mistaken by herbivores as grass and eat it instead =.="), but luckily my financial constriction is holding me back.

Luckily.

  2. hope you are getting better… sore throat is not a lot of fun its just uncomfortable and difficult to swallow.

usually, i would take the Nim Jiom Cough Syrup (www.geocities.jp/ninjiom_hong_kong/index_e.htm ) which has a thick consistency formulation. it coats the throat and includes herbs that are particularly good for that application.

i hope it works on you as well.
