I've just finish watching my first football match in my life. In the past, I would have fall asleep halfway during the game.
Today, I cheered and shouted as Argentina trashed South Korea 4-1 on FIFA World Cup 2010 even as I am a South Korea fan in heart. I did not feel shy to do so even as I was surrounded by friends and strangers alike. Guess football really worked its magic and demonstrated that sports can really bring people together.
The euphoric feeling from watching the football match was definitely memorable. And now I take back my words that watching football matches is boring and stupid. But this doesn't mean that I will be a football fan.
Add-ons:
Originally went to check out a campsite by Sg. Pisang last Sunday, my friends and I ended up playing water in the river. When we were just about to have fun, one of my friend said that he lost his glasses. Then we started looking for the glasses.
Some tried to look to the bottom of the river. Others searched for the item with their feets. After 10 minutes of search effort, the owner finally got back his prized possession.
But right after that, I realized that my own glasses that was hanging on my shirt was now missing. So everyone continued their search effort for another 15 minutes. When I asked everyone to stop searching for the item, I saw a silver-coloured metal near my feet. I quickly reached for it and pulled that metal piece from the water body and noticed that it was my own glasses.
I was definitely relieved to get back my glasses as I expected that it was lost for good.
From this experience I definitely learnt to appreciate my belongings more. But I totally forgot about that moral lesson the very next day. After all, I lost MYR10 the day after the incident at the river due to carelessness T_T
